Fighting Temptation
“Bird with Worm” was created by Cannon a few years ago, which means he was approx. 5 at the time.
This is one of my favorites and the following story explains why.
This is what Cannon said when I asked him about this drawing…
“The bird is trying to sing his song and he he really wants to finish it.
The worm comes out, tempting the bird, but the bird does not want to eat it until he is finished with his song.
So, he has sweat beading down his forehead because he is trying really hard to finish his song and not eat the worm.

Hi Cannon- I really like your story for this picture and I am going to use it in my class. I am a science teacher and I really like that you use a lot of animals as a basis for many of your drawings!
